
This course consists of seven parts, where we review examples from history, concepts and typology of different forms of disinformation. Here we will discuss such strategies of totalitarian regimes as censorship, propaganda and controlled narratives.
We will also dive into the questions of the psychology of disinformation distribution, the foundations of state cyber-security and the role of civil consciousness and society in general. Furthermore, we will give practical advice for effective fact-checking. In order to progress from one part to another, you will have to answer a questionnaire.
We hope that during this course You will discover something new that will inspire you to pursue further media research and/or work as an investigative journalist.
