Vabamu\u2019s next exhibition <em>Global Estonians<\/em> will do just that. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Opening in January 2026, this major exhibition will highlight the history of Estonian migration, eastwards and westwards, voluntary and forced, from the late 19<sup>th<\/sup>-century through the restoration of independence in 1991, and beyond. When Estonians move, they carry a small part of their homeland with them. \u201cGlobal Estonians\u201d wants to capture these stories.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Estonians living overseas, either now or in the past, we need your help to make the exhibition a success. <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfUgP5ayPuDKIiW2c2mW5d3Zw2XVB37vAUSdskkjqvN-hERJQ\/viewform\">Please send Vabamu a photo<\/a> and describe in 100 words or less your idea of Global Estonia. Think of how you and\/or your family, friends, home, and work represent Estonianness.
